The texture and the face were better than 2k8 but now 2k9 has changed all that. 2k9 has improved their graphics alot by fixing the skin textures and pores etc., but thats basically the only area where live is good. And they still got the glitches that were never fixed. 2k9 honestly is way better because now they got the graphics, gameplay, the annimations, better reporters and comments. The on court action is nothing short of breathtaking,the players look fantastic,especially as the game progresses,not just the players sweat the uniforms become sweaty too. On top of that the animated coaches who watch from the sidelines and mascots dancing around,its a sight to behold. Also the crowd deserve a mention too,the animation on them is so brilliant, like when someone returns from the loo or from the refreshment stand carrying their drinks,everyone stands up to let them back through,people on the phone etc,its just so brilliant. The best bit is the reporter at half time as people run behind him waving at the camera. Priceless,and SO funny. As far as gameplay goes its super easy to play but still a challenge. And on top of all that the dunk contest with bobito garcia is a whole game in itself its every bit as good as nba street used to be.

Especially when you see your man soar high in the air,catch his foot on the speakers that you laid as props and fall flat on his face its so well animated its fantastic. And some of the dunks are unreal.

I purchased the NBA League Pass. They patched it for the xbox and it is playing video wonderfully. One of the advertisements for the Surface showed it functioning as a second screen to the xbox while watching live games. The second screen allows you to pick all the winners and interact with Xbox friends.

This means that every single night, at least one game--sometimes two games--is blacked out on League Pass. That adds up to hundreds of games over the course of the season. This is no big deal to people who have the u300 or better and already have the NBA TV channel, but I have the u200, which does not include the NBA TV channel.

I've had three different TV providers in the past five years before switching to U Verse. All three of them included the NBA TV channel when you purchase League Pass.

That is how it should be. It is ridiculous that a person would pay $199 for League Pass and then have to also upgrade to u300 just to get the 1-2 games every night that are shown on the NBA TV channel.

This needs to be fixed ASAP. This is my first time pre-ordering a game online or even actually ordering online, so I apologize for the idioticness out of me. Alright I have a couple of questions that I really want to ask. The first question is that when you pre-order a game, does it come the day on? Or do we wait a few days before getting it?

The second question on my mind is that I heard in NBA 2K13 that if you'd pre-order, then you would get the All-Star features in it (addons), and it says that applies here in Future Shop, so how does that work? I just purchased my 5th PS4 game yesterday, NBA 2K14, and I was really looking forward to it. I read as many reviews as I can before buying it but to my disappointment I got the audio cutting out glitch as soon as I loaded it up, where the sound cuts out for a second during gameplay and this can range anywhere from 2-3 times per minute to half a dozen or so times per match.

I frantically went online to search for a solution only to find hundreds of posts on the PlayStation and 2K support forums about the very same issue, with no working solution or fix to be found. I wish even one online review had mentioned this bug, I would have skipped this game. I did open a support ticket with 2K on it but I have yet to hear back, and frankly considering this game is now mid-late in its life cycle (I'm sure 2K is already working on 2K15 by now) I'm not sure holding out hope for a fix is realistic. My issue is that games are sold with no return policy which seems fair as I'm sure some will abuse that policy. But what about consumers who are genuinely having an issue with a buggy game, a show stopper bug if you will, that essentially makes the game un-enjoyable at best, if not unplayable.

Not sure if this is just my copy or the game itself but ever since I put that disc in my PS3 the whole machine has gone to sh*t when dealing with infamous.I got the game on wednesday from shopto, put it in my console and it worked fine. After about 4 hours of gaming I walked into a part of the map that hadn't fully loaded and the game froze.Ever since then getting the game to load has been a nightmare, last night it took me 5 atempts and each time it fails it requires me to turn off the console from the back thus taking the risk of doing more damage. Thats if the console even notices the disc is in there to begin with. It works fine with other games, i've put COD4, FIFA and Fallout 3 in there and they all work fine, just this disc and only since I walked into that unloaded part of the map.There have been other times that the game has crashed on me too, a couple of the missions where you have to follow the echo, game freezes there and sometimes if i fail a mission.Anyone else got this or should I get on the phone to Shopto you think?. This is interesting, because last night while I was on the inFamous pause menu looking at the powers, the video previews of the powers stopped loading. Then the game froze and had to restart PS3. Now my PS3 can no longer recognise any type of disk being in there, not inFamous, not another game or even DVDs.

Will probably need to buy a new PS3 (Not got continous play, and have old out of warranty 60gb launch console). It's just strange that the same sort of problem, the PS3 not reading disk, occured in the same sort of way.

So my PS3 60 GB froze the other day and hasn't been the same since. It wasn't starting games and then it stopped recognizing them so I formatted the HDD. Now it still won't read discs unless I leave the PS3 off for an extended period of time. When it does turn a game on it SORT OF works. For example, when I play NBA 2K11 I will start a game and then when the game goes to half time it won't go past halftime.

It just gets stuck watching a player stand on the court (this is in online mode too btw). Then when I quit the game it doesn't even recognize the game anymore in the main menu.

What the hell is going on? Good Afternoon heather657, I'm sorry you are missing the start and ends of NBA games you have recently recorded however there is a way to stop this from happening. You can alter the start and end of your recordings by adding more time through the Sky+ settings on your Sky+ HD box. You can do this by pressing Services, Options, Sky+ Setup and scroll to Add to Start of recordings and Add to End of recordings. You can add up to 10 minutes onto your recordings. Once it loads, I exit the game via the XMB and eject it. That's the only time when I can then proceed to insert my newer games, and play them. This issue popped up last night, it was fine all yesterday i played Black ops in the afternoon then NBA 2k12 in the evening, I get off for awhile and come back on at 9ish, when I come back on apparently my ps3 wouldn't load a game, I have been trying different games, no matter what game it is it logs into the game, and then immediately I have a black screen, the green light on the console is on, but when i hold the button to turn it off it won't turn off however i can eject the disk. It showed that I had 100% of complete down load. I even downloaded the Steam ap also. It came time to install the game manually onto one of my hard drives. I used the E: external HD for the game location.

That went fine also. Well, here's the troble. I clicked on the E: drive and the game folder was there. I clicked on that, but there is no icon to launch the game. There are all kinds of incon listed disk 1 and disk 2.

We’ll have more information coming soon. Everything was fine with my PS3 until I went to play Uncharted 3. First game session worked fine, second time I went to play it started making this weird noise when it goes to run the disc. Then the game doesn't show up.

Tried resetting the files. Worked the first time. Now it doesn't.

Hi all, Anybody out there had problems loading GT5 Prologue? I bought the game recently and tried it for the first time tonight. The disc starts up okay, flashes up the Polphony digital logo and then goes straight to confirmation screen which tells me not to turn the power of if the HDD indicator is flashing.. And then nothing! The screen won't go away and the game doesn't load. The only thing I can do is go back to XMB via the PS button and quit the game. Is this a known problem or is it just a duff disc?

I strongly agree, after doing PT work for two years and assisting other techs,I realized I would like to move into tier 2 or another tech support position. Hey everyone, So, I was pretty excited to see the newest Apple TV update has access to NBA.com content. Unfortunately, it seems that when I am accessing any of the game recaps or highlights that the Apple TV loads very slow. I have no trouble streaming Netflix content, and all of my iTunes content streams without issue, but the NBA stuff takes some time to load. I should mention that I am not a League Pass subscriber, though i probably will be next season, so i don't know how well the Live Streaming works.

Disc drive makes some noises as if it's reading the disc but nothing comes up on screen. I have OS X snow leopard on my macbook Nvidia Geforce 9400M using 256 MB RAM 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo When I load nba league pass broadband everything works fine. I'll choose the game I wish to watch and the loading screen comes up. Once it is done loading all I get is a black video area with no audio. All the menu options are there and work fine. If I go to full screen, I still get black video and no sound.

If I go to mini mode, I get video and sound just like it is supposed to be. If I go to the DVR option and move back to an earlier time in the game, I'll get ~1 second of audio before nothing, and have still black screen for video. I've tried the latest Chrome, Firefox, and safari. All of them have identical results.

I uninstalled flash, and downloaded the latest version and reinstalled. This did not solve the problem, everything acted the same. I restarted the computer, same result. Anyone experiencing a similar issue or have an idea for a fix?

I read about a crashing issue in another post, but this isn't crashing. I put in a help ticket for nba league pass, but who knows when or if they'll ever get back to me. Live has more problems than 2k. Every year, ea sports just throws in a new feature and basically the old problems remain unsolved. And new problems are created. They just aren't improving at all. The only thing good about live is that the players faces are more realistic.

The texture and the face were better than 2k8 but now 2k9 has changed all that. 2k9 has improved their graphics alot by fixing the skin textures and pores etc., but thats basically the only area where live is good.

Live's gameplay felt choppy to me, and the commentator's are repetitive and boring. And they still got the glitches that were never fixed. 2k9 honestly is way better because now they got the graphics, gameplay, the annimations, better reporters and comments. The site comes up great but when I go to watch the games 1/2 of the the game is off the screen 50% of the times there is no sound and/or video in whatever size I load the game. I'm guessing this is a problem on the browser/TV side since it works perfect when viewing games on my computer. Was just wondering if/when this would be fixed/addressed or if I'm just an idiot and doing something wrong. Thanks for your time! I continue to be unable to watch the NBA on my iPad although I have purchased NBA League Pass from ATT. I purchased the full TV version that includes iPad access! I have been on multiple calls with ATT tech support and have invested over 3 hours of my time working on resolution with them.

I feel I am wasting my time, as it doesn't seem that ATT tech support even understands how the NBA grants access, even though it is on the ATT site and I am following those instructions with an ATT representative. I have included a screenshot from the NBA stating that ATT is stating that I have not purchased the package. I am using the same login ID and PW used to view my bill on ATT the website. This has been going on for over a month without resolution. ATT tech support states that they don't know why it doesn't work since they have proof I purchased the package. ATT has 'exhausted our ability to trouble-shoot this problem. Please contact the NBA.'

Are you kidding? In reality, ATT is the total vendor and should resolve the problem whether it is on the ATT side or the NBA side - I have no access to the NBA. You'll need to go into ps3 safe mode and select 'Restore file system' Activating Safe Mode Step 1: Turn off the PLAYSTATION 3 by holding the Power button on the front of the unit till the Power light is red.

Step 2: Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, meaning the PLAYSTATION 3 is powering on.Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep, indicating the video reset.Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a third beep and the system will power off (Power light is red). Step 3: Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, again for the PLAYSTATION 3 to power on.Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep for video reset.Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a quick double beep. At that point release the Power button.

If you succeeded in activating Safe Mode, you will see a message on the screen saying, 'Connect the controller using a USB cable and then press the PS button.' Connect a USB cable to the controller and the PLAYSTATION 3 and press the PS button to enter Safe Mode.Then you will see the Safe Mode menu.
